I grew up in the beautiful country of Mexico and moved to Saint John in 2019. I started caring for children at 11 years old and it has been my passion ever since. In 2020 I decided to enrol in the Educational Assistant program at NBCC and graduated with honours in 2021. Since graduating I have been working in daycares and love every second of it. Children are a constant surprise and have taught me so much. I love seeing the world from their perspective and watching them grow in their unique personalities. I believe that my role in a child’s life is to help them achieve any goal they set for themselves, both big and small. It is for this reason that I am excited to be part of the Atlantic Babysitters club and can’t wait to see what adventures the future holds. In my spare time I love being outside and exploring the world around me. Whether it’s going for a walk on the beach or challenging myself with a nature hike, just getting outside is one of my favourite ways to relax. I also love a good rainy day where I can sit back and read a book while drinking a cup of coffee. The world goes past us so quickly and taking time to enjoy the simple moments is a goal I have set for myself. I look forward to meeting each of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
