Answers You Need

WHAT IS YOUR HIRING PROCESS?

We have a multi-step hiring process.  Our sitters are the heart of this company and we pride ourselves on our exceptional service.  We start with a qualification interview for all prospective sitters.  After the interview, the sitter must provide us with a personal and professional reference, a vulnerable sectors background check, and proof of CPR certification. Our sitters are required to agree to an extensive code of conduct.

CAN YOU EXPLAIN THE BOOKING PROCESS?

Complete your family profile and choose your preferred sitter date and time.

Our books allow for booking up to 2 months in advance. On the 1st of each month, the following month will be released (ex: on May 1st, June books will open for booking). In some cases we can accept bookings further in advance, please email us to inquire.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO REQUEST A CERTAIN SITTER?

Absolutely.  Our sitters set their own schedule and you will be able to book the sitter of your choice if your needed time aligns.

HOW DO I PAY?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Email Money Transfer.  Your invoice will be sent to you via email within 24 hours after the booking is complete.

HELP! I NEED SOMEONE OVERNIGHT.  IS THIS POSSIBLE? IF SO, WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?

We do overnight sitting regularly.  Whether it be just one evening, a weekend away, or a couple of week vacation, we've got you covered.  Overnight rates are custom based on age of children, time of request and length of stay.

I'VE NEVER HAD A BABYSITTER BEFORE AND AM QUITE NERVOUS.  CAN I MEET THE SITTER BEFOREHAND?

We are happy to allow a one time 1 or 2 hour shift for your first booking to meet with your sitter before booking again. We can also set up a no charge 15 minute zoom call to meet your sitter. Please contact us to arrange.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

Cancellations of babysitting services with less than 24 hrs notice will be charged 50% of the booking fee or 3 hours, whichever is greater. This aligns with our value to treat our sitters with respect and dignity as they have set aside this time for your family and deserve to be compensated.

CAN I ASK MY SITTER TO WORK FOR US PRIVATELY?

We have worked very hard to promote our sitters and find them families to work with. As part of our sitters code of conduct, sitters are unable to accept private bookings, sitters would no longer be offered shifts with us and families would no longer be accepted for bookings.
